At UBC, there are multiple research centres and operational units involved in the diverse range of Campus as a Living Lab (CLL) projects. In addition, UBC partners with a wide range of external organizations from the public sector and private industry. The Urban Innovation Research team in UBC’s Sustainability Hub is revitalizing and restructuring Campus as a Living Lab as a mechanism to more effectively to address complex sustainability challenges and increase the real-world impacts. As part of this process we are continually identifying groups already working in a living lab approach, and expanding the range of collaborators for future projects.
