Campus as a Living Lab has been an approach to innovation and applied research at the UBC since the early 2000's. Over 20 years, living lab projects have taken on a variety of forms and today many programs across the university that engage in living lab research and activities.

We are in the early stages of revitalizing and restructuring Campus as a Living Lab as a mechanism to more effectively address complex sustainability challenges and increase the real world impacts. Moving forward we will develop new programs and connect to existing ones that respond to and create more opportunities for applied research and innovation projects.
