The Climate Venture Studio is a entrepreneurship@UBC (e@UBC) program for UBC researchers interested in developing and commercializing scientific or technological innovations that tackle a widespread climate issue.

The studio works with ventures to identify climate market opportunities, nurture high-potential climate solutions emerging from UBC research and help entrepreneurs build impactful ventures

Sustainability Scholars Program

The Sustainability Scholars Program is run by the Sustainability Hub. Scholars is a paid partnership program matching UBC graduate students with on- and off-campus sustainability partners to work on applied research projects that advance sustainability across the region.

The program gives students the opportunity to develop applied skills and knowledge under the guidance of a mentor, but also to build a professional network and enhance their career prospects.

The Social Ecological Economic Development Studies (SEEDS) Sustainability Program is run by Sustainability and Engineering in Campus and Community Planning.

SEEDS creates applied research and interdisciplinary partnerships between students, faculty, staff and community partners to advance sustainability ideas, policies, and practices and create societal impacts by using the campus as a living laboratory.
